OUR STORY
Finding Balance Since 1978

from the Foothills of the Kittatinny Mountains
Kittatinny is the Native American word for "Endless Hill" or "Great Mountain". It is from deep beneath this mountain range that Mountainwood's endless stream of great water flows.

Bottled by Nature, Delivered by Us
Located in the foothills of the Kittatinny Mountains, Mountainwood Spring Water Company has been family-owned and operated since 1978. Our spring is nestled on 72 acres of protected, mostly untouched land, where the water is bottled just minutes after it naturally flows to the surface.
It doesn’t get more natural than that, and that’s why we proudly say our water truly is the Taste of Nature.
A Legacy of Quality Water
Forty-five years ago, Bill Egan delivered the first tanker of Mountainwood Spring Water to a dairy in Pennsylvania. As he watched the tanker drive off, he could never have imagined that, all these years later, he’d still be quenching customers' thirst.
Two things have made that possible:
Great Customers and Great Water
Our customers are great because they value exceptional water and demand outstanding service. They are the reason we exist, and we take our responsibility to exceed their expectations very seriously.
Our water is great because nature makes it that way. Naturally filtered through limestone deep beneath the Earth's surface, our water contains trace amounts of calcium and magnesium in perfect balance, with a pH of 8.0. Our job is simple: deliver the water to you exactly as Mother Nature intended.
